Modern lighting and the MoMA contest of 1951
14 Sep - 13 Oct 2023 This online story was created as a continuation to our new Paris exhibition that brings together lightings from major 20th century designers such as Pierre Guariche, Gino Sarfatti and Tapio Wirkkala.
As a tribute to American design, the show also includes a very rare collection of table and floor lamps designed for a contest organized by Marcel Breuer and the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1951. Read more -
