Italian architect and designer Paolo Buffa is one of the most important designers of the 20th century. Active from the 1930’s to the 1960’s, Buffa contributed to the construction of Italian design culture. He was internationally known for his elegant design that combine Neoclassical and Art Deco lines with rigorous modernist principles. The high-quality craftsmanship and beautiful marquetry as well as the use of fine materials, characteristic of the designer, are all featured in this remarkable dresser designed in 1950.
