Domenico Parisi, called Ico Parisi, is one of the leading figures of design in the immediate post-war period, contributing to « Renaissance » of Italian furniture design. This unique dining table was designed for the dining room of an Italian country villa. The simplicity and the purity of the lines evoke Nordic designed furniture. The noticeably long and thick tabletop is supported by round legs decorated with white tips at the feet. The strength and stability of the table are ensured by slats incorporated to the design.
