This set of 8 chairs was designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen in 1950. Wegner’s respect for the materials is reflected by a perfect combination of oak and teak completed by a beautiful woven cane for the seat. The simplicity of the design is enhanced by Wegner’s attention to details, such as the two cruciform cover caps encrusted in the backrest, subtly magnifying the mixture of essences.
